The article responds to the question of how AI can serve the common good through business in two steps. First, it clarifies the meaning of the good and the common good in the Aristotelian-Thomistic tradition and proposes an understanding of the common good of business as work in common. Second, it explains how AI can serve the common good by augmenting and enhancing human capacities, thereby enabling virtuous work.
L’articolo risponde alla domanda su come l’IA possa servire il bene comune attraverso l’impresa in due fasi. In primo luogo, chiarisce il significato di bene e bene comune nella tradizione aristotelico-tomista e propone una comprensione del bene comune dell’impresa come lavoro in comune. In secondo luogo, spiega come l’IA possa servire il bene comune aumentando e potenziando le capacità umane, consentendo così un lavoro virtuoso.
